Courtyard by Marriott is one of the most underrated hotel brands out there in the hospitality industry, whereas many hotels cut corners to improve the bottom line, Marriott consistently provides the best in comfort. The rooms are spacious and have all the modern luxuries you need to make your stay more comfortable. From flat-screen TVs to a newspaper delivered to your door, its the little things that matter and this Courtyard seems to adhere to its stellar customer service policy. And if you are an Oklahoma City Thunder fan, its location in front of the Chesapeake Arena cannot be beat.... less

We attended an event there and didn't want to hassle with parking. Check-in was a breeze, valet was ready and waitng at 10:00pm on a Friday night. The AC was cold, beds were comfortable, shower had great water pressure, breakfast buffet was yummy, and the staff at the restaurant was attentative. No issues or complaints.... less

First 2 lots of wine were not available! I asked the waiter if they were short staffed and he said YES - our wine was sat in an ice bucket on the wine counter for 15 minutes! Do you call that service???? I enquired how long our meals would be and was told 5 mins. When it did arrive it was absolutely gorgeous. So well done kitchen staff for which I give 10 out of 10 and 2 out of 10 for front of house! You need to set the standard! This is Marriat!!! Come onnnnnnnn we were in a party and luggage wasn't delivered to the room for ages ! Bottom marks on that one... less

Excellent service in the Starbucks breakfast bistro - scored a free espresso from chatty waiter. Missed out on seeing Stephen Adams play in the arena next door (season not started yet), but visit to Bricktown for dinner was very pleasant.... less

I'm a tour guide and stay here every other month. They always put a tray with fresh fruits in our room! The valet attendant Mike Jones is the best; in the morning he brought us ice for our ice box and also 2 muffins and a cup of orange juice for the way! Who else would do that nowadays? Very happy with the service here!... less

My girlfriend, our soon to be three-year old and I set out on a weeklong journey in which we spent five nights at the Courtyard Oklahoma City Downtown. We couldn't have made a better decision for our lodging needs. The location is right in the middle of the downtown area and offers a parking deck with easy in, easy out access. Bricktown is just a hop, skip and a jump away from the hotel. Chesapeake Arena (home to the OKC Thunder) is directly behind the hotel as well as the Cox Convention Center. There are numerous attractions within walking distance (Myriad Botanical Gardens, OKC Museum of Art, OKC National Memorial & Museum to name a few). During our time staying here, we found that most everything we wanted to do was within a ten-mile radius. Major thoroughfares provided quick and easy access to everywhere we needed to be.The entire staff at this location were very cordial, friendly and most helpful when we had questions or were in need of something. The valets and bellmen made you feel very welcome each and every time you came through the front door. The front desk staff were always saying hello and asking how our stay was each time we passed through the lobby. The F&B staff were professional, efficient and always made great suggestions when we couldn't decide what we wanted to order from the Courtyard Grille. Our room was very spacious, clean and quiet. Despite the hotel being sold out two of the nights were there, we never heard a peep. One of the best things about our room was the storage space. We traveled with numerous bags, snacks for our child, toys, etc. and we never ran out of space (even after shopping!) Our room also featured a nice sized balcony which we enjoyed, particularly in the evenings when it had cooled off a little bit.Internet connectivity was easy and we found the speeds to be fast. Our child had his Fire Tablet to watch cartoons, I had my laptop to do some work and my girlfriend used her smartphone to research local attractions/restaurants. Never did we have connectivity or speed issues. We opted to order room service on a few occasions and we can safely say that the F&B offerings from the Courtyard Grille were some of the best (if not the best) we've had at any hotel. A special thank you to Andrew who not only delivered almost every order we placed but was also very accommodating in letting our child answer the door (Carter says hello). This hotel is well maintained, the location is perfect and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. We are already looking forward to our next visit to OKC and without doubt, we will stay at this property once again.... less
