Dec 14, 2014 · Re: QB89. I have a bunch of old chinese guns, love'em. Had two 57's, one from parts and sold one. Some nice B3's. One with blue varnish and a Mini 14 rear sight under the scope. Couple of Bam B4's and two XSB4-2's. A B3-3 with a QB36 front sight assembly. Two I.B. B4 side levers, two TS45's, a Fastdeer and a QB58.
Shipping & Payment. Terms. This is a QB89 Techforce model air rifle, made by Industry Brand at the Shanghi airgun factory. It is in excellent and functional condition, and comes in the original box (slight wear). This model is a .22 caliber, with heavy woodgrain stock, rubber backing on the butt, with adjustable sight. Its overall length is 25".

Upon first receiving the two Contender 89s for a test (one in .177, the other in .22), I cleaned out the barrels, removing the oil and grease used for a preservative by the manufacturer. So, would I recommend this gun to the end user? With a 15 trigger pull length, this gun is not for kids or adults of smaller stature. It is a large gun, and if you are larger in build, this gun is for you. It completely fills the hands of the user, and at 7.5 pounds it's sturdy and well built. The 9 oz Tippmann CO2 tank fit the gun without touching the barrel but barely. I did spend the money for the Air Venturi QB79 Series CO2 Tank Adapter and that gave me plenty of room and allowed be to use the Air Venturi 13cu inch HPA tank. I most use the gun with the HPA tank. I shoot mostly 10-40 yards and the gun is very accurate.
