Each floor has a different theme: horror on 13th, big hair, super heroes, and music. The themes on some floors were well executed, other floors not so much. We did not stay in a themed room. Our basic room was comfortable and clean enough. The novelty of these themed floors is not enough recommend a booking. The welcoming and efficient staff is a good reason to stay. That and the hotel is near the convention center and the 16th street mall.... less

Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. The floors all have different themes. We were on the 4th floor and the theme was famous duos. The staff were all very friendly. The rooms were clean but the hotel is pretty dated. The air conditioner was pretty loud. The beds were comfortable but the place is a little tired.... less

I understand that’s the idea with it, but it just doesn’t really work for me (sure others would disagree). The voice over elevators are funny the first couple of times, annoying beyond that. The artwork is ugly and at times crude? On the plus side it’s a great location, the staff are helpful and price wise it’s low in comparison to what else is around. Also my room (1420) was a good size, and nice and clean too.... less
