The Old Feed Mill is known for its Fork Tender Pot Roast. Midwest Living featured it in their article: A Taste of Comfort". Jerry Minnich a food reviewer said "I have never had a better pot roast-Ever so slowly cooked beef yields easily to the fork. Unsullied by unwanted seasonings but graced by dark, rich, brown pan gravy, this is indeed a pot roast for the gods." The other signature dish is cider roast chicken, steeped in apple cider, crusted with fresh herbs and roasted until moist and golden. Originally a flour mill, wheat and rye grown locally is stone ground on site for the honey wheat bread brought to the table.... less

    Not vegetarian friendly. Very basic meat/potatoes. Cute but sterile atmosphere. Would it hurt to have some soft music playing? Indifferent, impersonal service.more
