We reserved the rustic cabin by the riverside and it was secluded and quiet. There was a vague hiking trail running to the side of the cabin and a few respectful hunters passed into the woods to hunt. The cabin was clean but musty so we opened the windows and doors and aired it out just fine. It had a back porch, fire ring , picnic table and outside garbage can. The bunk beds had sleeping pads already installed. We just bought pillows and covers. We also brought battery lanterns as there is no electricity in the cabin. The outhouse was a few yards away and was surprisingly clean. The cabin has a ramp for wheelchairs as well. We baked potatoes, watch the moving river and had a wonderful time.... less

It would benefit you to look around at different sites, some are very spacious and wooded and others are more in the open. We stayed in 117, next to the bathroom, I was grateful there wasn't any bathroom smell! I recommend looking at the 1-100 sites, they seemed bigger as we rode through. We rode bikes to all the lakes and on some trails. Kids ride freely around the park roads. Very clean. They came around several times a day to take out garbage, refill paper products and mop if needed.... less
