Kingston Mines is one of the oldest and best blues clubs in town. As you listen to the likes of Jimmy Johnson, Eddie C. Campbell and Billy Branch, you can also eat a variety of Southern-style food from the kitchen. And, if you cannot wait for the next band to start, you just have to cross rooms to the second stage where another band is sure to already be underway. By evening's end, the rowdy crowd sometimes has a hard time navigating from room to room, but that's all part of the down-to-earth atmosphere in a club that encourages its clientèle to be as loud and rambunctious as it pleases.... less

We took our 30something sons and girlfriends out on Christmas eve and had a blast. The Corey dennison band and j.W. Williams & The Chi-Town Hustlers, so much fun!! Great venue and awesome blues.

The venue is large with 2 different performance areas. The music is great the drinks are affordable the wait-staff attentive but the food is not good at all. Which is really unfortunate because the rest of tge venue has a very authentic look and vibe. The food was bland and visually unappealing. I definitely recommend you come check it out just eat before you come.... less

Waiters serve drinks...you have to head to the back to order food. Gumbo was delicious, ribs were meaty but nothing special. I wasn't crazy about the fries. You might like them. Worth visiting if you like the blues.... less
