Upon check in we were offered upgrade to governers suite which was perfect for the 4 of us..my daughter had her own bathroom! We had a huge balcony..perfect for evening cocktails. Every associate I spoke with was so friendly. Our server even acknowledged my Marriott status and thanked us for being members. Will be back for a longer stay.... less

I went to the wrong desk, and met two ladies that were VERY hospitable and made me feel VERY welcomed. We had a nice chat before going over to Zach, at the front desk. Again, smiling, hospitable, friendly and welcoming! These folks started my time here off on the right foot. I knew I chose the right place for my stay. From that point forward everyone and everything was perfect. My room was clean, the hotel was clean. Such a beautiful place. I would stay again and again!... less

The hotel is exactly what one wants for a conference – reasonably convenient to the airport, multiple bar/restaurants on site (pool bar!), close to major attractions (but not so close as to temp attendees to walk out of presentations to go elsewhere). There are also multiple restaurant options, a short Lyft/Uber/Cab/Trolley ride away. The food/drink options on-site are pricey, but I found the meals at the main onsite restaurant to be perfectly suitable for what I can only assume is an industrial scale kitchen and I do enjoy a well-stocked breakfast buffet. My room was on the inside facing the enclosed courtyard but was comfortable with a decent desk/table, and good internet speed, to get last-minute work done. The staff was never rude or disrespectful, but my weak Spanish did make conversation with one difficult. Check-in/check-out was a breeze.... less

The room was very nice and the beds are comfy. The breakfast I had at the tradewinds was the buffet which was very expensive (28$) but the ala carte menu was also expensive so I opted for the buffet. I also think the resort fee is a ripoff and completely predatory. I was there for a convention and never left the hotel.... less

My girlfriend and I were excited to stay at this hotel, as it boasted on-site amenities including a large pool, spa, restaurants and bars, a Starbucks, and shuttle to the parks. The hotel was also close to food, SeaWorld, Disney, and Universal Studios. On paper, it was the perfect getaway. Our experience, however, was anything but perfect. Upon check-in, we were greeted by kind hotel staff who quickly checked us in. We proceeded to our room at 5PM. Thus began our poor experience. Immediately upon entering our room, the TV was on and pillows were thrown onto the floor. Startled by the disheveled nature of our room, we feared someone was already in there. We checked the closet, behind the curtains, and under our bed. No one was there. The hotel staff perhaps did not finish cleaning our room? Or someone was hanging out in the room before our arrival. Then, the hammering and drilling began. It was loud, and sounded like it was happening directly above our room. We called the front desk and were asked to hold while they investigated. We sat on hold for about 40 minutes before we heard from them again. We endured the construction noise the whole while. Hotel staff assured us the construction would stop immediately and would not continue for the duration of our stay. After the call, we heard the construction stop and proceeded to go to bed, as we had a long trip. At 9AM, the hammering and drilling started again and woke us up. How relaxing. We sleepily called the front desk and were put on hold for one entire hour before we hung up and proceeded to the front desk. We informed the staff of the noise, and told them we had waited one hour on hold. They apologized and did not know construction was continuing. To compensate us for the noise, they gave us a $60 voucher that would be included on our room tab. We were so excited to use this! We went to the nearby TradeWinds Restaurant to enjoy breakfast with our voucher. I ordered the 2 eggs any style platter. While I received two eggs, I also received free protein: a DEAD BUG (sewer fly) sitting like a cherry on top. The restaurant manager said they'd comp my plate (not my girlfriends) and took our food away. They did not offer to remake the meal. After this experience, we couldn't remain in the hotel. We decided to leave 3 days early. Upon checkout, the hotel staff said our bill was settled and good to go. We asked to receive an itemized receipt just in case, and noticed they had not applied the $60 voucher. We mentioned the voucher was missing, and the staff member shrugged. "Oh yeah, I did see that on the account," he said. He then proceeded to print us a new receipt. Why did he see the voucher and not apply it? Not sure. Always check your receipts, as this hotel wants to nickel and dime you.... less
