After being occupied by the Suckley family from the 1800s till 1991, the Wilderstein Preservation Society now owns the Queen Anne Style structure. The mansion is now open as a museum and has a collection of household artifacts, furniture, and many other items used by its former inhabitants. On a visit to the mansion one can admire the architectural work and know more about the lifestyle of the people during the period.   Only the first floor is open, but a good glimpse into days gone by. Nicely decorated for the holidays. Worth the pitstop if you're in the area. More
