MoreXavier College Preparatory is a Catholic private high school in Phoenix. The school is all-girls, with students coming from more than 100 feeder schools. It has been in operation for more than 60 years and was established by the Founding Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The school has an enrollment of more than 7,500 students and offers honors and advance placement classes in various areas of study ranging from English literature to art history. Its mascot is the gators. It has sports teams in badminton, basketball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, track and field, volleyball, tennis, and swimming and diving. The school also provides opportunities to students to participate in various extracurricular activities, such as music and philosophy clubs, liturgical music, Students for Social Action, student council, intramurals, and drama and computer clubs.
