The Inn at River Oaks was originally called the Southport Motel in 1954 when it opened. Walking distance to everything that Southport has to offer, with shops and restaurants surrounding the Inn and the Riverfront just 5 blocks away, guests have been able to park and walk for decades! We encourage our guests to get out and explore our fabulous little town, sit on the front porches or in the courtyard Adirondack chairs to get to know other travelers as well. The hotel is open 24/7, however, our office hours change seasonally but are generally from 9:30-1 from October - February. Less
