MoreFounded by a group that included Francis Cleveland, the youngest child of President Grover Cleveland, the Barnstormers Summer Theatre had its first production, The Ghost Train, in 1931. It is the oldest professional summer theatre in the United States. In 1999, the company finished a renovation project and became a year-round facility. The theatre has a 28-foot proscenium stage. Barnstormers Summer Theatre is equipped with a balcony and holds a capacity crowd of 282. The playhouse produces eight productions during July and August each year.
