He performs the full spectrum of pain management services ranging from regenerative therapies and epidural steroid injections to the latest minimally invasive procedures to treat lower back pain, cervical neck pain, and conditions like peripheral neuropathy and complex regional pain syndrome. Dr. Anijar has trained with many of the world leaders in interventional pain medicine and was one of the first pain physicians in Florida to be trained on percutaneous sacroiliac joint fusions, minimally invasive lumbar decompressions, and interspinous spacer devices. He has a special interest in neuromodulation therapy and has performed hundreds of spinal cord stimulator and peripheral nerve stimulator implants. Dr. Anijar also has extensive experience in regenerative medicine and only uses regenerative products that have robust evidence based clinical data supporting their efficacy and safety. Dr. Anijar studied Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he completed an advanced neuroscience senior project at the Yerkes Primate Center.
