MoreThe Big Tree Inn was purchased in April of 1998 by Campus Auxiliary Services at a public auction. The inn had been in foreclosure and it had changed hands several times within the past years. The inn was in shambles and was in jeopardy of being destroyed, and with it, the history and memories that made the building great. Upon its purchase by Campus Auxiliary Services, the inn underwent 9 long months of complete renovation, bringing life and beauty back into the building. The inn reopened for business on January 11, 1999.Today, the history and memories of the Big Tree Inn and the members of the community live on and are celebrated.
