MoreTruth or Consequences, formerly known as Hot Springs thanks to their abundance in the region, was renamed in the year 1950 to the popular radio show of the same name. The step to rename the city was taken in order to increase the city’s popularity and tourism. The city hosts its famous annual festival ‘Fiesta’ which started back in the year 1950 in honor of Truth or Consequences radio host, Ralph Edwards. Some other popular attractions in the town include the Geronimo Springs Museum, old windmills, Native American art, and quirky stores selling wooden figurines.   Nice little G.A. airport. Has bathrooms, and some vending machines. FBO is run by a cool guy. Very laid back atmosphere. Will be flying here in the future. More
