The owner of the restaurant was the head chef for a number of years in some of Seattle's most well-established and expensive dining establishments. The food at John's Grill is perfect and simple, just what you would expect for a great steakhouse. The steaks are juicy and cooked to perfection without a lot of unnecessary extras taking away from the meat's flavor. The service is great with attentive, but non-intrusive wait staff. One warning though, John's has a $4.50 surcharge to split a meal. - Katie Kinney Less
