Besides being the only public space protected from the rain, the market also offers the only public parking garage. It does have a Gap, an Urban Outfitters, a Gold's Gym and a QFC, but it's also got funky stores and restaurants with a twist. Independent vendors sell jewelry and other knick-knacks from pushcarts, and there are indispensable services such as a video rental shop, a shoe repair shop, and a florist.
