The Venetian kitchen is quite different from the rest of the country - for instance, guests can find wild duck served over broccollini as well as mussels made reminiscent of those in the French Côte d'Azur. The restaurant is still family-owned and the service is as warm as the delectable crab crostini, one of the reasons why Venetian is one of the best Italian restaurants in this part of South Texas.
