MoreTucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Ashfall Fossil Beds State Historical Park is an interesting and informative historical park that features complete selection of skeletons of Rhinos, Camels, Dogs and Horses. A fun site where you can learn a great deal from interns studying to be a paleontologist. Apart from the Rhino barn, there is a visitor center and another building where kids can dig for fossils. They also have two short trails where you can hike. The park is open from May 27 until 4th September – labor day. Less
