The center encompasses five individual museums- The Buffalo Bill Museum, Whitney Western Art Museum, Cody Firearms Museum, Draper Natural History Museum and Plains Indian Museum. In addition to this, the McCracken Research Library is also a part of the center. All of these chronicle different aspects of the region's history. Exhibits range from artwork and authentic artifacts to firearms and handicrafts.   We heard so many positive things about this museum so we wanted to give it a try thinking we would be in there less than two hours. Boy, were we wrong! We ended up spending over 5 hours and still... More

  There are 5 museums and it is hard to do them all justice. We visited over two days. The gun museum is overwhelming more guns than I had ever seen. Unless you are an enthusiast probably give a miss.... More
