It administers the National Junior Tennis League's outdoor summer program. The center organizes several community program offers weekly tennis instruction to meet the state-approved physical education requirements. Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education provides life lessons and teaches personal skills, such as self-discipline, good sportsmanship and nonviolent conflict resolution through recreation, academic and mentoring services.
