MoreThe Ed Asner Family Center provides enrichment programs, camps, vocational training, support groups, LGBTQIA+ groups, and low-cost counseling services for the entire special needs family. We offer arts and career advancement programs at our Center after school and on the weekends, as well as counseling and mindfulness classes. These classes and sessions help promote self-confidence and balance. Something that translates into all areas of life, including an area that needs much attention in the disability world, employment. Over 80% of individuals with a cognitive disability are unemployed or underemployed, and we aim to change that. Less
