For many years, those wanting to dine at a Merriman’s table would have to make the trek up the Kohala Coast to Waimea on the Big Island where the air and tomatoes are sweet. However, more convenient and just as spectacular is this Kauai restaurant. Ocean views from the second floor restaurant are certainly a good pairing with his fabulous watermelon poke and sesame crusted marlin sashimi. Reservations are highly recommended. -Lottie Tagupa Less
