Occasionally, you can see boats slipping along the smooth waters of the bayou as you walk along the promenade. The park is also the site of a massive metal sculpture of seven pillars that commemorate the Texas Sesquicentennial.   Not the nicest psrk in Houston. It is in downtown Houston so you do get a good view of the Houston skyline. Would not go out of my way to visit, though. More
