MoreThe Shaker Historical Society is one of the finest local museums in town. The society aims to educate and inform residents the history, culture and heritage of the the neighborhood. It houses four permanent exhibits comprising of documents, photographs, videos and artifacts. There is also a space for temporary exhibitions as well as a library and a gift shop. Events and seminars are held from time to time where various speakers are invited to give talks. The society also organizes walking and bicycle tours around the neighborhood.
