Established in 1893 when gold was found nearby, the town boomed as people flocked to here to strike it rich but by the end of the decade there wasn't much gold left and the town declined. Although the town was abandoned it has been rebuilt so you can explore the ghost town and discover what it was like to live in the Wild West. Learn about the mystery surrounding the Lost Dutchman Mine and tour an actual historic shaft. You can also watch recreated gunfights, ride on a Superstition Narrow Gauge Railroad, visit a mining equipment museum, and just walk around and admire the authentic looking Western buildings. Less
