Over the years the business has grown from the familiar Tamale Cart into the present day incarnation of Texas Tamale Company. We now have over 100 products under several labels including our well-known Brazos Legends brand. Even though our tamales, Homestyle Chili and Chili Con Queso are now made in a state of the art USDA facility, we pride ourselves on maintaining our Homemade Gourmet Quality . The New York Times, Texas Monthly and the Houston Chronicle have all given rave reviews for our mail order tamales. Texas Monthly named us the best mail order tamale in Texas. Yes, we even ship our husk-wrapped delights to such remote outposts as New York and Boston. The product you are about to enjoy is the result of years of experimentation and refinement.   The tamales are small. Masa is thin. Meat is almost puréed with little flavor. Bought chicken tamales and half of them were bean. Stay away! More
