Children will enjoy sitting on the wooden horses, putting together a rifle and other fun-filled activities such as the Scavenger Hunt. The Texas Ranger Research Center was added in 1976 and has a collection of over 300,000 items such as case files, personal data of Texas Rangers and reference books. It is mainly used by researchers. There are special programs for schools to educate the kids about the history and importance of the Texas Rangers.
