MoreAlex Haley was known for his work as an author and has written many books which have helped and inspired the black community to progress. His house has now been restored and opened to the public as a museum. This beautifully restored house which was built around 1919 has all its furniture and furnishings intact and they are well maintained. The exhibits and artifacts inside are all memorabilia and effects of Alex Haley himself. Visitors can pay their respects to Alex Haley as his burial ground is on the site.
