As we entered we were told by the rude security guard checking bags, that my wife could not bring her umbrella into the arena, (there was a threat of rain and we had walked from our hotel). She was told she could throw it on the floor and pick it up after the concert. There were a few others in the pile. We went back after the show....awesome show btw....and all the umbrellas were gone. A different rude security guard then told us we could walk to the other side of the arena and check lost and found. We did, no umbrella. They gave us a number to call to check if it had ever been turned in, it never has. I don’t know if the security guys just needed new umbrellas for their wives or were just jerks. There is nothing on their website about not allowing umbrellas, nor was there anything on our tickets. Just a forewarning to anyone attending an event here...don’t take your dangerous umbrella with you, or some security guards wife will be using it during the next rain shower.... less

Not the best venue for Andre's music but I was so glad he was anywhere close to me, the venue didn't matter. Parking is too expensive - $25 this time. We did get there very early (2nd row) and sat in our car for a bit. Entrance door has poor traffic pattern. Venue isn't built for waltzing in the aisles. Concession stands and bathrooms are inconvenient. And it was surprising how many people came late and would stand trying to find their seat, blocking other people's view. Ushers let them come in after Andre's grand entrance so there were lots of them. Since we were younger than most of the crowd and had such a great parking spot we were able to get out the door and the parking lot impressively quick (on the interstate in less than 5 minutes!) Just give yourself plenty of time.... less

The line was long, for parking. It is cash only, but it least it is a whole amount, i.e. $15, $20 or $25. Tonight it was $25 and, again, they don't take credit cards for parking. When we were directed to our parking space, we saw that the all of the entry lines were the longest lines that we have seen going in to the Allstate Arena. We actually waited and listened to the radio in the car for awhile until the line went down a bit. There were only two ticket lines going in to the south side entrance which could have been better, though it was relatively quick. They didn't have signs up saying what you couldn't bring in, so people were arguing about that - unreasonable, argumentative people do slow down the lines. There are restrooms on either side of this entrance which is nice and we went down to our main floor seats in the 3rd row. behind the VIP seating. The music was really awesome and the acoustics were great. Our seats were folding chairs, so, I did think that they were a bit roomier than the regular seating around the arena. The show that we went to see was the "Game of Thrones" concert and though I'm not a fan of the show and have watched less than two episodes, the music and the special effects were fabulous. The concert went longer than I thought. It was a full house, so when we left, naturally the aisles were full and we took our time, as we walked to the parking lot. We waited a few minutes and then began to head towards one of the parking lot exits, and we were actually on Mannheim Rd. rather quickly. All in all, a good night!... less

We found our floor but the sections were poorly marked and we couldn’t find anyone to help. Finally found row but was sent to wrong end so everyone had to stand up for us. Had we been sent to other side it would have been much easier. Have patience when it’s time to leave... less

This would NEVER happen at a proper theater. People also were allowed to bring in food, drinks etc like a baseball game. The seats are too small for this type of venue. The absolute worst feature is the management of traffic leaving the event. There are no exit signs, no personnel to guide you. It was complete chaos! I will NEVER go to this place again!... less
