Sandee and Dave, Iowa 8/25/2018 The very best! This place is amazing. I'm very picky about where I stay and The Northfield Inn (and Innkeeper Sharon Jackson) never disappoint. We always stay here when we are in town to visit our son at Carleton College. It is impeccably clean, the beds are outrageously comfortable, and Sharon's breakfasts are five-star amazing. The place is modern but cozy. Sharon is welcoming (but never overbearing). She remembers details about her guests (like the cookies that we love, which she always makes for us and leaves out as a snack) and goes out of her way to ensure your visit is top notch. My only hesitation in writing this glowing review is that Northfield Inn will become so popular we won't be able to get in for our next visit. You cannot go wrong staying here. You won't want to leave! Less
