This stunning English Renaissance mansion once belong to Preston Boyd Moss and his wife, Marsha Moss, who lived here with their six children and three servants. Today, the mansion-turned-museum details the family's lives, and awes visitors with gloriously preserved furniture, objects and artifacts from the turn-of-the-century. Built by New York-based architect Henry Janeway Hardenbergh, the eminent architect of landmarks such as the Plaza Hotel and Waldorf Astoria, this mansion is a fine example of English Renaissance architecture, and the builder's keen eye for detail. Guided tours of the mansion are available hourly from 10a to 3p, from Tuesday to Saturday, whereas Sunday tours are conducted between 1p and 3p.
