MoreNorCal House of Chess is a chess center for both kids and adults. We conduct weekly adult/scholastic tournaments. In January 2012, we conducted the most elite chess tournament in Northern California, attended by Grandmasters, International Masters, and several masters from different countries. We've also organized Invitational tournaments (norm-events), Open tournaments (Cash prizes), and quality scholastic tournaments. Previously called Newark Chess Club, we started in a small room inside the Newark Public Library. Our chess club became really popular and has attracted lots of kids from all over NorCal. NHC headquarters is centrally located in South Fremont has more space to provide a better playing atmosphere for kids and adults.
