Now all that remains are a few relics of that time, and forests have once again reclaimed their property, making it the Oil Creek State Park. Featuring wetlands, woods, and remnants of the oil industry, visitors can admire recreations of oil derricks, and interpretive historical tableaus of how the petroleum industry rose and fell. The Oil Creek snakes through the park, providing plenty of opportunities for a memorable kayak or canoe ride. Also home to waterfalls, the site offers the best of nature and history together.
