The Court of Claims of Ohio decides several civil claims that involve contract disputes, property damages, discriminations, wrongful imprisonments, personal injuries, and the immunity of state officers and employees. It maintains a panel of commissioners who are appointed by the Supreme Court and hear appeals made by crime victims.
