The Horned Frogs compete at the NCAA Division IA-level in football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, and 15 other sports. Banners lining the campus streets proudly display purple and white colors. Randolph and Addison Clark first tried to build a college in Fort Worth in 1869, but briefly moved the site to Thorp Springs in 1873. Another move to Waco followed in 1895. After the Waco campus was destroyed by fire, the school made its final move back to Fort Worth in 1910. Less
