More"Children don't hate math. They hate being Frustrated and Embarrassed by it." We Make Math Make Sense. We are passionate about teaching math. We are patient and help build a student's confidence every session. The Mathnasium program builds confidence and a solid foundation in mathematics. We focus on number sense and problem solving skills. Each child is given a math skills assessment. The assessment will identify any gaps and root cause why a student is having trouble with math. Your child's lesson plan is individualized to their ability. We focus on the math skills they need help with, not what they already know. The lessons are completed in the center, so there is never Mathnasium home work that requires your help. The lessons are delivered one on one with an instructor. Our students typically attend the center 2-3 times per week for about an hour each time. We also help with math homework assigned in school and test preparation. Less
