Since 1891, Chemung County SPCA has been the only not-for-profit organization devoted to the care of the stray, homeless, abused and abandoned animals of Chemung County. In fact, more than 75 percent of our operating budget depends entirely on contributions from our community. We are not a county agency, or state affiliation, but are funded by donations, bequests, fees and dog control contracts with Chemung County and most of the townships in Chemung County. Less
