MoreCongregation Tikvat Jacob is a result of the unison of two community institutions, the Congregation Tifereth Jacob of Manhattan Beach and the B’nai Tikvah Congregation of Westchester. The synagogue is center for a warm and active community that belongs to various age groups. It provides religious education from pre-school to the senior members. Very traditional in scope, it moved to Manhattan Beach in 1976. The synagogue invites a healthy membership of 330 and is still growing. The congregation does solid social work and has a social action committee which conducts various volunteering and donation drives for the benefit of the less privileged. The synagogue is nice place to worship and to interact with the local Jewish folks. Less
