MoreLocated on the 33rd Thomas Street is a mysterious looking, ultra-secure, windowless tower in the center of Manhattan. Officially known as the 'Long Lines Building' the tower was designed in 1974 by architect John Carl Warneke, and was originally created to house AT&T’s carrier exchanges for their long distance telephone switches and equipment. In present times a part of the building is still being used as the company’s data-center processing unit. It is further believed that the tower is being used as a hub for NSA spying. The tower has an advanced technological infrastructure and can survive nuclear fallout and survive an off-grid for up to two weeks without issue. A look at the intimidating skyscraper is enough to know that it is not open to public. Less
