The park was created by Hugh Mooney who wanted to protect the valley's disappearing oak woodlands. Ensconced with mighty oak sentinels, there are many trials, historical buildings, a disc golf, a pioneer village, playground, picnic pavilions and horseshoes. The Tulare County Museum is also housed in the park. You can also go on boating in the beautiful lagoon. Less
