This independent research public library located in the neighborhood of SOMA has a collection of over 50,000 books, periodicals, government documents, zines and maps that date back to the 19th and 20th Century. These image rich materials are rarely found in public libraries and are accessible to the public once a week. Allocated into three sections, the library does not follow the traditional Dewey Decimal system as it wants its users to browse through and discover something new altogether that will draw their attention.   Awesome library practically made for serendipitous discoveries. Loved seeing all of the old atlases. I'm a sucker for maps :) Will definitely spend some more time here in the future. More
