Established in 1940, it supports programs and policies that promote workers' rights, defend civil liberties and preserve the rights of those affected by humanitarian crises. The organization organizes JustWorks camps, which are short-term experiential learning projects that help volunteers to examine and understand the causes and damaging effects of injustice.
