Lou Malnati may disagree, but nonetheless Pizzeria Uno has played a big part in Chicago culinary history. The pizzeria has since moved around the country as a franchise, but this location is the first. On weekends and during busy summer events, the wait time to get a table can be long, up to two hours sometimes, but it is worth it. The one-of-a-kind crust, loaded thick with toppings make the pizza very hearty; a couple of slices is truly a meal in itself.
