Dec 15, 2022 · If your wife has stopped showing you affection, you likely let your masculinity slip. Women want to be able to feel feminine in your presence. They want to feel your power, not in an overbearing, controlling way, but in a calm, confident manner.
- She’s caring. A good wife loves her husband and cares about his well-being and happiness. Unlike in the 50s and 60s, being a caring wife doesn’t mean that she spends all day cleaning the house and making herself pretty for her husband.
- She’s compassionate. A good wife is a good human being. That means she’s someone with an endless supply of empathy and kindness. So, no matter what’s going on with her husband, she’s always able to put herself in his shoes and see things from his perspective.
- She’s selfless. And that means that she puts his needs before hers. For example, if his dream is to get his Master’s degree and run his own business one day, then she’ll take on extra jobs in order to support him through his studies.
- She has good communication skills. Here’s the thing: Unlike some women, a good wife doesn’t expect her husband to read her mind. If she has something that she wants to say, she’ll come right out and say it.
- Really listen to her. Put down your phone, turn off the TV, and find out what’s going on in her life.
