May 2, 2024 · In general, Bangkok IS a safe destination. That being said, there are times where it’s easy to get a false sense of security in Bangkok. The city DEFINITELY hides a darker side. The roads are also some of the most dangerous in the world; people are all up for scamming you; there’s the threat of terrorist attacks; air pollution is pretty bad.
