Hunter Parrish was born in Richmond, VA, and was raised in Plano, TX. Beginning his acting career while still in his teens, Parrish appeared on a number of television series such as the "The Guardian" (CBS, 2001-04), and crime dramas like "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS, 2000-15), and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-).
Hunter Parrish and Alexander Gould also starred as the Botwin children with Justin Kirk playing her brother-in-law, Andy. Kevin Nealon also starred as Doug, the pot-smoking family friend. Back in 2019, it was announced that Weeds was getting revived at Starz with a revival dubbed Weeds 4.20 .
Hunter was born Hunter Parrish Tharp, on May 13, 1987, in Richmond, Virginia. His mother, Annie Parrish, works for autistic children, and his father Bruce Tharp, worked as an engineer. Hunter grew up in Plano, Texas, with his older brother. Most of his family members have lived in the American Midwest for generations.
