Biography. Matt Patricia was hired by the Philadelphia Eagles as a senior defensive assistant during the 2023 offseason. He brings over 25 years of experience to Philadelphia's staff, including 20 seasons working in the NFL. Prior to joining the Eagles, Patricia spent two years as the New England Patriots' senior football advisor (2021-22).
