Nov 25, 2022 · The Whole Enchilada in Moab has come a long way since the early days of the 2000s when mostly downhillers would shuttle to the top of Burro Pass and piece their way down hand built steep trails. I remember doing this in 2003 and it was an adventure! Luckily for you it’s now a well-marked route with frequent shuttles to the top.
Food is always consistent with great flavor, service is always great and on time. Ambiance is great and I have been going here for years. I usually order the Whole enchilada combo:chile relleno, shredded beef taco and cheese enchilada. It is excellent and also portion sizes are the same when you order it to go.
Along side The Haute Enchilada (which appeared closed) this restaurant - The Whole Enchilada - was featured on Samantha Brown’s Best Places to Love. I gave it a try and was sorely disappointed. There was no wait and I was seated immediately (by a less than enthusiastic hostess), but it took a while for the server to arrive and take my order.
