Andrew Carnegie (English: / kɑːrˈnɛɡi / kar-NEG-ee, Scots: [kɑrˈnɛːɡi]; [2][3][note 1] November 25, 1835 – August 11, 1919) was a Scottish-American industrialist and philanthropist.
