Oct 2, 2015 · The Martian is a very funny and at the same time, serious movie. It's the best when a non-comedy movie is genuinely funny. The story is very intriguing, the pacing is incredible, 142 minutes just fly away. I don't know whether this would work in real life or not, but the writers made it seem pretty real.
